Where is the Easter service being held this year?
This year, we’re celebrating Easter in the heart of downtown Dothan at the Dothan Civic Center, Opera House, and the newly renovated Porter Park area.
Why are you meeting downtown instead of your normal location?
Easter tends to be one of the more larger attended Sundays of the year, and we wanted to create space for more people to attend and experience it together.
Hosting downtown allows us to gather as one church in one service.

Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the Civic Center and Opera House are wheelchair accessible. If you need assistance, our team will be happy to help when you arrive.
Can I invite friends and family?
Yes! Easter is one of the best opportunities to invite someone to church. We’d love for you to bring others with you. Each week leading up to Easter we have stacks of invites at the Connect Table for you to take.
Do I have to adhere to the Dothan Performing Arts clear bag policy?
Yes. For security reasons, all bags brought into the venue must be clear. This includes diaper bags, small clutch purses, bags measuring 4” × 6” or smaller, and all personal bags. A single clear-bag standard helps reduce confusion, speeds up entry, and allows our security staff to easily identify prohibited items.
The maximum allowable clear bag size is 12” × 6” × 12”. Bags exceeding this size will not be permitted.
Medical Bags
We understand that some guests may need to bring essential medical supplies into the venue. Guests requiring medically necessary items are permitted to bring a medical bag, subject to the following guidelines:
Medical bags without medical devices must be clear.
Medical bags may not be used as purses and must contain medical necessities only.
Medical bags are subject to screening and approval by venue management at entry.
Advance notice is encouraged but not required.
Examples of permitted medical items include: prescription medications, insulin, EpiPens, and other medically necessary devices or supplies.
