CATC Worship Auditions

USE YOUR GIFT. LEAD PEOPLE TOWARDS JESUS.

Worship at Church at the Crossing happens in more places than the Sunday stage.

From our weekend services to Kids Crossing, Crossing YTH, and mission environments, we want to build worship teams that help people encounter Jesus and participate in worship together.

If God has given you a gift musically, we would love to help you discover where that gift can be used and developed.

Auditions are currently open for:

Weekend Worship
Help lead our church during our Sunday gatherings.

Crossing YTH Worship
Help lead the next generation in worship through our student ministry.

Kids Crossing Worship
Help our kids learn what it means to worship Jesus in a way designed specifically for them.

Missions Worship
Help lead worship during mission trips, outreach opportunities, camps, and other ministry environments.

You can let us know which areas interest you when you apply.
Our worship team will help determine the best place for you to begin based on your gifting, experience, availability, and current opportunities.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are building more than musicians. We are building people who understand that worship leadership is about pointing people toward Jesus.

We look for:
  • Character and spiritual growth
  • Alignment with the culture and values of Church at the Crossing
  • A heart to serve people
  • Musical ability and preparation
  • Coachability and willingness to grow
  • Reliability and commitment to the team

You do not have to be a professional musician.

You do need to be willing to serve, learn, prepare, and grow.

HOW TO AUDITION

1. COMPLETE THE WORSHIP AUDITION FORM

Tell us a little about yourself, your musical experience, and the areas of worship ministry that interest you.

2. SEND US YOUR AUDITION

You don't need professional equipment.

Your phone, your voice or instrument, and a song are enough.

Record yourself singing or playing along with a track using Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, or whatever you normally use.

Follow the instructions in the audition form for your specific instrument or vocal part.

3. WE'LL HELP YOU FIND YOUR NEXT STEP

Our worship leadership team will review your submission and follow up with you.

That next step may be joining one of our worship teams, having an in-person audition or conversation, entering a season of development, or helping you discover another place to serve.

The goal isn't simply to make a team.

The goal is to help people grow and use what God has placed in them to serve others.
